I am not a big fan of stores/brands that have to splash their name over every piece of clothing in the store. It has never been me. So every once in a while usually around the holiday season I check in usually just browsing the mens  side for their thermals but this time around I scored some deals on some basics for the closet. Picked up some cute gifts for cheap as well. On a side note WHOLLY mark up in all items they catch shoppers with their 60, 70, and 80% off everything.

 

This scarf is thick and a good quality it will last awhile. The color could just be my computer screen but appears off online. In person it is that neon yellow that is popping up everywhere right now. It the color I am most craving in small doses to spice up my basic wardrobe which is the cheapest way to do so.  Plus it is infinity my favorite type of scarf so warm.On sale for $5.90

 I picked up these gloves as a gift. These gloves are pretty thick. On sale for $3.90 Next thing I picked up with these thermal pants as a gift and one for myself.  They have sliver line sparkles on it. These are so cute and sparkly! On sale for $5.90

Next thing I picked up was these micro fleece sleep pants so warm to sleep in. Pick one up in the leopard pattern and of course my staple color black. On sale for $5.70. Last thing I purchased was this grey cardigan. On sale for $11.90.

I have extremely bad allergies smells, humid rooms will get my allergies going. I have been tested  and am allergic to just about everything. Anyways there is something about the subtle smells of the body shop's sweet lemon body butter and balm. Defin. My favorite smell from them.

Organic coconut oil pressed- Purchased thanks to @Smart Couponing.  I subscribe and save from Amazon. I use it everyday after my shower and once a week as a deep conditioner in my hair. I don’t even need body lotion anymore thanks to this product.  I know we here from everybody and their mother coconut this coconut that but this it truly a life chnager. I pay around $15.00 pack of 2 every three months. One for my mom and I. 

 

Sally’s miracle in 7 – Comparable ti It’s A 10! Works the same for me and a tad bit less since it retails for $14.99 at my local Sally’s. Although they have those special gift with purchase. When I purchased mine I received a full size shine spray which is nice but does  not work the same. 

 

J.R. Watkins Organic Lemon Crème Lotion- Thanks to @Nouvea Cheapo Blog. I purchased this lotion since it was on sale for $1.50 (Gosh been stalking the drugstore for this price for awhile c;mon Rite Aid. Anyways I HATE smelly lotion, my allergies can’t stand them but this brand makes it just right. The smell is not overpowering at all. Plus it is organic. I feel when you use organic lotion you use less in the long run or at least it feels that way.

 

Got 2 B- FAT-TASTIC  Volume Hairspray: Purchased this at Big Lots for $3.00 and boy am I glad I did. I am fully prepared to purchase this at full price (o.k. not full price just when it is on sale at a drugstore) but worth it.  I hope this never gets discontinued. The only downside of this product is the packaging. The spray cap kept getting stuck but it could have been due to sitting on the shelf for awhile and all the transferring but the important thing is that the outcome of my limp hair is AMAZEBALLS!

 

Butter London Nail polish – love the formula , goes on smooth and not full of those harsh chemical smells. After applying these two polishes which I happen to received them as gifts now know  OPI is so overrated.

Sweater socks!

Just purchased my first pair of wool socks from Big 5 sporting goods! Hope this will solve my issues of always carrying a heavy coat out here in freezing south cali. I believe people use this for the snow but I am wearing them with my skirts and rights.

Day 8 new battle

Well I got a new pimple booho this sucks I must of not cleaned skin well or clarisonic is lifting more

Day 7 acne war

Still cystic acne along chin but no new major breakouts which is good used clarisonic yesterday. Thinking of trying new nib and fab glycolic pads still need research

Day 3

So far still breaking out but alot more stress extremly high plus ate 2 fatting cookies and slice pound cake. Going to put warm water and open up pores

I struggle so much with my skin. It's always been a battle. It wasn't that long ago where my skin was behaving but after my surgeries it went to hell again. I have recently been breaking out more then usual like huge cycstic ones the only thing that has changed was I began taking vitamins which have now stopped and went back on pill to become regular only time will tell...

Hopefully this brush will battle my tangled mess on my head. I usually use a wide tooth comb but it is not working anymore. This was purchased at Sally's for 10.99. It comes in blue and purple. There is another brand states its the "original" but that retailed for 14.99. What I am really on the hunt for are the detangler brushes that are used at the Drybar but have not been able to track them down.

Face:

• “First I prepped her skin with Clarins Beauty Flash Balm to give it an instant radiance then used Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer in Light Beige all over her face and neck with an angled foundation brush from Metier de Beaute.

• I contoured her cheekbones, temples and along the hairline and jawline with Hourglass Illume in Bronze Light.

• I applied Kevyn Aucoin Cream Blush in Tansoleil (peachy pink) on the apples of the cheek with a natural bristle blush.

Eyes:

• I applied Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Epatant all over her lid with my finger then “drew in” her crease by tracing Jemma Kidd Makeup School Stardust Creme Shadow in Comet.

Glowing Green Smoothie Take 2

The first time I made it I followed the glowing Green smoothier from
It came out way to thick. I was very worried about the taste but it really taste like nothing. The texture is like biting an apple.

Take 2 . This time I used lettuce spinach peach banana coconut water and ice cubes. It would of been better with an apple but I did not have any on hand. Overall the Smoothie came out 10x much better. It made around 2 cups. I stuck my glass in the fridge hoping it would cool down the Smoothie but no luck. Why Does the Smoothie come out warm? Anywho below are some pics of my process.

P.S. I don't own a vitamix blender. I would love to but it is out of my price range. Its just simple old 7 year oyster blender.

Spotted and tried thess wedges on at Jcpenney. I believe it is from their Call It Spring line from Steve Madden. I really love the Call it Spring line I got some pretty well made( better then f21) crossbody bags.

This or That? Target vs Aldo Colorblocking Wedges

Came across these wedges at Aldo and Target. They appear somewhat similar. Not a fan of either of these though. I am just not into bright neon colors. I truly need some inspiration for more color in my wardrobe.

Shopping diary American eagle

Purchased these earrings both were $12.50 each. There were on sale for buy one get one 50%. I also had a 20%  coupon. I never noticed how many pretty pieces American eagle carried. So far they seem good quality too.

Shopping Diary-Colorblocking

Picked up my first spring/summer staple item a target linea pellet crossbody. It was only 19.99. The material is so soft which is a big weakness for me when it comes to my purses. This is about as far as colorblocking for spring/summer I have gone. I tend to always go for a dark wardrobe, I can't help it I love wearing black. I am in despair need of spring/summer inspiration... pinterest here I come.

Excercise diary day 1 from prevention dvd 2008

I was impressed with this dvds for only 3 bucks I felt I got a good workout. I loved the warm up and cardiovascular sucplt sections. I definitely need more practice on the pilaties and kickboxing sections. I am gonna try and stick with the warm up and cardio sculpt for a 20 min early workout which means I must be up by 5 am to make it happen. Wish me luck!

Shopping Diary@thrift bookstore

I can spend hours in a bookstore so much info. Its been awhile since I visited this used bookstore they have now expanded to dvds and cds which is what I had in mind. I purchased a workout dvds from Prevention magazine from circa 2008 a juiceing/smoothie book and a gentle yoga book with awesome pics and a 15 min dvd. I also got eat this not that my total purchase was like 13 bucks. I am barely attempting to get into any sort of excercise routine day 1 begins tomorrow.
